Pico Rivera: Suspected Arson Fire Evacuates Families From Apartments
07.23.2019 | 11:43 PM | PICO RIVERA – One person was in custody after a suspected arson fire broke out prompting evacuations in an apartment complex, late Tuesday night.
Authorities responded to reports of a fire in a multi-story apartment building located in the 8000 block of Telegraph Road around 11:43 PM.
Units arriving on scene located a contents fire inside first-floor unit and quickly extinguished the fire.
Multiple families including children and animals had to be evacuated while firefighters checked for extension of the fire.
Deputies took one man into custody and were investigating the incident as an arson fire.
No injuries were reported.
