Pico Rivera: Pedestrian Killed By Hit & Run Driver

06.14.2020 | 9:56 PM | PICO RIVERA – A man was killed by a driver who fled without stopping to render aid, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian in the 8500 block of Washington Boulevard around 9:56 PM.

Units arriving on scene located an approximately 30-40 year-old man down in the roadway suffering from severe trauma.

First responders initiated life-saving efforts including CPR and rushed the man to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

Witnesses on scene said saw a vehicle traveling eastbound at high-speeds when it collided with the pedestrian and continued on.

A large perimeter surrounding the scene of the fatal hit-and-run crash was cordoned off while deputies investigated.
