Pickup Truck Crashes After Fleeing Police From A Takeover

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 1100 pm 1-25-24
LOCATION:  13106 Hardy Frontage rd
AREA/CITY:  Houston
DETAILS:

1. HPD and HCSO Racer Taskforce saw a suspect in a parking lot takeover and attempted to stop the vehicle
2. HPD Taskforce officers attempted to stop the vehicle at Mt Houston & 59, when the suspect fled from the stop
3. officers and deputies pursued the suspect until he crashed on the Northbound feeder, striking a light pole and flipping the truck
4. an adult female was also inside the vehicle and was able to self extricate
5. male adult suspect was trapped inside the truck and LYFD responded and extricated the suspect
6. Male was extricated and transported to a nearby trauma center.
7. Driver is facing a minimum of Felony Evasion
