Pick Up Catches Fire After Fullerton Crash

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 9-2-25, 4:12 P.M.
LOCATION: NB 5 FREEWAY AND MAGNOLIA AVE.
AREA/CITY: FULLERTON
DETAILS:

1. Fullerton Fire Department and California Highway Patrol, Santa Ana responded to a reported traffic collision.
2. When units arrived, they found a car fully involved in fire.
3. According to the driver, he was traveling on the freeway and exited the freeway, lost control and crashed into two vehicles. He was able to exit the vehicle and at that time his vehicle burst into flames.
4. He was transported to a local area hospital suffering from unknown injuries.
5. The other two drivers were uninjured.
6. The offramp is shut down for clean up.
