Phoenix Firefighters Save Puppies From Fire

Phoenix Fire crews responded to reports of an apartment fire.
Crews arrived to find smoke coming from a ground-floor apartment.
Crews entered to find the fire inside, and fire sprinklers were activated.
Crews worked quickly to extinguish the blaze.
During a primary search, firefighters located a litter of puppies inside the fire occupancy.
The puppies were quickly extracted from the home.
The Fido bag was utilized to assist one puppy with apparent signs of smoke inhalation.
All residents were able to evacuate; one resident was treated for smoke inhalation on scene.
Fire Investigators are working to determine how the fire started.
