Phelan: Sex Crimes Suspect Flees From Officers Before Crashing
04.21.2020 | 1:37 AM | PHELAN – A suspect wanted in connection with a sex crimes investigation fled from deputies before crashing into a ditch, early Tuesday morning.
Deputies were conducting a sex crimes investigation at the home of a suspect when he got into a GMC pickup truck and fled around 1:30 AM.
A short pursuit ensued but ended when the suspect crashed his vehicle into a ditch near the intersection of Smoke Tree and Johnson roads.
The suspect was quickly apprehended and placed under arrest.
Firefighter paramedics responded and treated the suspect for minor injuries sustained in the crash.
