Pharmacy Burlgary Spree (Caught on Camera)

LOCATION: 5550 Carmel Mtn Rd

DETAILS:
- 3 men spent the morning breaking into Pharmacies in the County.
- A Pharmacy in Oceanside was broken into, a CVS in Encinitas was an attempted burglary, and then the PURECARE PHARMACY was broken into in Carmel Mtn.
- The owner arrived with a key to the business, as there was no visible evidence of the break-in on the outside of the business.
- The security gate on the inside had been tampered with.
- Once inside, the officers searched, but no one was found inside.
- The loss is unknown at this time, and the suspects’ route is still unknown as to how they broke in.
- Both sets of doors were secured.
- The suspects were all wearing hoodies and mask and were driving a white van.
- over a dozen pharmacies have been broken into in the Los Angeles and Orange Counties area within the last few weeks, and it’s thought this is the same crew involved in all of the thefts.
- The owner told us this is the 4th time this pharmacy has been burglarized.
- SDPD Burglary Detectives are in route for the investigation.
