Pet Killed In Apartment Fire | San Diego, CA

DETAILS:

 

1. A fire broke out in the kitchen of the 2nd story apartment.
2. It started from an appliance.
3. No one was home at the time, but firefighters were told by other residents that there was a cat inside.
4. Heavy smoke was coming from the apartment and the firefighters found the cat.
5. 1st Responders made efforts to resuscitate the feline but were unsuccessful.
6. The fire was out within 10 minutes, but the kitchen area was destroyed.
7. The American Red Cross was asked to come and help the two adults as they were displaced.
