Person Walking on East Freeway Struck and Killed

INCIDENT DATE/TIME:  1005pm 4-2-25
LOCATION:  Eastbound i10 under Lockwood
AREA/CITY:  Houston
DETAILS:

1. HPD and HFD responded to reports of an auto v pedestrian
2. Arriving companies located a person down in lanes, obviously deceased
3. The body was separated and strewn across the left lanes
4. multiple vehicles struck the pedestrian, and at least one had returned
5. while investigating the wreck, an initial responding 2 man unit was struck by cars merging to avoid the emergency vehicles
6. No officers sustained injuries
