Person Fatally Struck by Vehicle on 105 Freeway

LOCATION: E-105 FWY JWO Garfield Ave.
AREA/CITY: Paramount
DETAILS:
- Eastbound 105 freeway shut down at Garfield exit until further notice.
- The 911 caller stated he spotted a vehicle parked on the side shoulder JWO of Lakewood Blvd, almost three exits from where they found the body. The driver was possibly found asleep in the vehicle.
- The police tow truck removed the car as evidence, and LACoFD transported the suspect to the hospital.
- At this time, CHP is still investigating and will not give me any more information.
