Person Arrested After Setting Home on Fire, Hesperia, CA

DETAILS:
- The San Bernardino County Fire Department along with the San Bernardino County Sheriffs Department responded to a reported structure fire at the above mentioned address in the City of Hesperia just before 8:00pm on Saturday evening.
- Upon arrival, crews observed one single story home with smoke showing in one room which then quickly spread to the attic.
- Also, 2 males were scene in the driveway of the home yelling back and forth. That is when the Hesperia Police Department was dispatched to the scene.
- The males were separated and one left in handcuffs while the other was treated by medical staff for an unknown hand injury.
- Fire crews were able to locate the flames and began to extinguish the fire.
- One dog was seen on the scene.
- A Sergeant with the Hesperia Police Department stated that 1 male subject would be arrested for setting fire to a room that he was in for unknown reasons at this time.
- An investigator with the San Bernardino County Fire Department was requested to the scene.
