Perris: Woman Killed By Truck At Equestrian Event

12.25.2018 | 7:49 PM | PERRIS – A woman was dead after being hit by a truck pulling a horse trailer, Tuesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a crash involving a pedestrian in the 23000 block of Post Road around 7:49 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a female down in the roadway and determined she was deceased.

Officers investigating learned that the woman was struck by a truck hauling a gooseneck horse trailer.

The truck was reportedly leaving an equestrian event at Rancho Los Olivos.

The driver of the truck remained on scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
