Perris: Stolen Vehicle Crashes Into Strip Mall Injuring Eight People
10.01.2019 | 5:04 PM | PERRIS – Crews are working to remove a vehicle that was lodged into a business after a traffic collision, Tuesday evening.
Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a structure in the 200 block of 4th Street around 5:04 PM.
Units arriving on scene located at least one vehicle lodged into a business within a strip mall.
Initial reports indicate that at least one of the involved vehicles was reported stolen and that approximately eight individuals were injured. The extent of their injuries and condition was not immediately available.
An Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) team responded to the collision to evaluate the building’s structural integrity.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
