- The male driver of the truck was heading to work and did not take the time to defrost his windows.
- He turned from southbound Utah St onto eastbound El Cajon Blvd and hit a man walking his dog.
- The pedestrian and his dog were in the crosswalk at the time.
- The driver told the Police that he never saw the pedestrian.
- The pedestrian was more worried about his dog, which had run off than he was about going to the hospital.
- The Paramedics finally convinced the man as he was suffering great pain.
- Some officers went looking for the dog, but it’s unknown if it was found.
