LOCATION: EAST Freeway inbound at Lockwood
AREA/CITY: Houston
DETAILS:
- HPD and HFD responded to reports of a crash involving a pedestrian
- Arriving units located a pedestrian down in lanes who was struck by multiple cars
- the body was dismembered by the impacts of multiple vehicles
- HPD VCD is working to map the scene and complete their measurements
- ME’s office is en route to conduct their investigation as well
- Prelim info- witnesses stated that a group of males may have chased the deceased onto the freeway
- Once the freeway is reopened, investigators will work to determine what led to up the pedestrian to running onto the freeway
