DETAILS:

1. A man was struck crossing the street on Florence Ave between Western Ave and Normandie.
2. LAPD officers requested a canopy to the scene for a male not conscious or breathing.
3. LAFD arrived at the scene and transported the victim unknown if survived.
4. LAPD South traffic officers are on the way.
5. The suspect fled the scene unknown vehicle.
