- VALLEY CENTER: At approximately 2:01 a.m., deputies and fire crews responded to reports of a traffic collision on Valley Center Road near Ridge Ranch Road.According to initial reports, callers stated that a person was down in the roadway and that witnesses were preventing a second driver from leaving the scene. Fire personnel arrived shortly after and pronounced the individual in the roadway deceased.One person was arrested at the scene for reasons that have not yet been released. The call was later updated to a vehicle vs. vehicle vs. pedestrian collision.No additional information is available at this time.
