Pedestrian Hit and Killed by UHaul In Font of Fire Station

DETAILS:

1. CHP officers are investigating after a UHaul struck and killed a pedestrian in front of a fire station next to a hospital Sunday morning
2. LA County Fire paramedics were quick to arrive and located a solo pedestrian down in the eastbound lanes, with obvious signs of death
3. The driver who struck the pedestrian allegedly ran to the hospital to ask for help before returning to the scene
4. A purse was seen in the roadway next to the body, though the area was too graphic to show
5. The driver was seen sitting on a curb talking to officers. Both directions of 120th are closed at the hospital pending further investigation
