Passenger Killed In Possible DUI Crash | Houston

03.11.2022 | 7:11 PM | HOUSTON – HPD units are investigating a fatal crash involving a single vehicle. It was reported a Toyota Rav 4 was traveling northbound on Fountain View Dr heading towards Westheimer Rd. For unknown reasons the vehicle left the roadway and struck a pillar in the center median of the roadway. Both the front passenger and driver are adult females. HFD had to remove the doors of the vehicle in order to get them out. Both were transported by ambulance to the hospital. The passenger was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The driver is currently in surgery and is expected to survive. Arriving officers observed that the driver may have appeared to be intoxicated.
