Passenger Killed in Motorcycle Crash in Houston

At approximately 10:28pm on March 30th, 2026, Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a major traffic collision at Steubner Airline Drive and Lyon School Road in Houston.

According to investigators, a motorcycle traveling southbound collided with a Honda sedan that was traveling northbound and attempting to turn westbound onto Lyon School Road.

The impact resulted in a passenger inside the Honda, seated closest to the point of collision, being pronounced deceased at the scene.

The motorcycle rider was transported to a local hospital in critical but stable condition.

Authorities stated that neither speed nor alcohol appeared to be factors in the crash, and all involved drivers were cooperating. Investigators planned to review nearby surveillance footage as part of the ongoing investigation.
