Passed Out Wrong-Way Driver Arrested on Suspicion of DUI | Ventura

05.06.2022 | 1:53 AM | VENTURA – CHP Ventura officers responded to reports of a wrong-way vehicle traveling westbound in eastbound lanes of SR-126.

A CHP sergeant located the vehicle stopped facing wrong-way in the shoulder of eastbound SR-126 just east of Victoria Ave.

The sergeant reported the female driver of the vehicle was passed out.

The driver was woken up and was subjected to a field sobriety test.

The female was subsequently arrested on suspicion of DUI.
