Pasadena: Man Rescued From Under Metro Train

10.18.2019 | 3:08 AM | PASADENA – A man was rescued from under a Metro train after being ran over, early Friday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a Metro train that had ran over a man near the westbound I-210 Freeway and Allen Street around 3:08 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a 30 to 40 year-old male trapped under a metro train suffering from serious injuries to his leg.

Firefighter paramedics stabilized the man while members of an urban search and rescue team worked to free the man.

The man was freed after approximately 45 minutes and transported to USC Medical Center for treatment.

It is unknown why the man was on the tracks.
