Paraglider Rescued From Cliffside in Daly City

At approximately 4:32pm on February 22nd, 2026, firefighters and police responded to reports of a paraglider down near 130 Westline Drive in Daly City.

Upon arrival, crews located the individual uninjured but stranded on a beach approximately 150 to 200 feet below a cliff.

Firefighters initiated a rope rescue operation and were able to safely bring the paraglider back to the top. The individual walked away from the incident without reported injuries.

The investigation into how the paraglider ended up on the beach remained ongoing.
