Panga Boat Carrying 17 Migrants Intercepted by Sheriff and Border Patrol | Malibu

05.21.2022 | 3:40 AM | MALIBU – Ventura County Sheriff deputies surveilling the coast reported an inbound panga boat.

The boat landed at Thornhill Broome Beach with 17 migrants who were eventually rounded up by deputies on the beach after several of the migrants attempted to flee on foot.

Several migrants were evaluated by paramedics at the scene while deputies provided humanitarian aid.

The incident has been handed over U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
