Palo Alto: Man Shoots Two Before Barricading Himself

11.11.2018 | 12:00 AM | PALO ALTO – A man suspected of shooting two was in custody after he barricaded himself inside a home, early Sunday morning.

Police and fire responded to the 1900 block of Manhattan Avenue in East Palo Alto around 12:00 AM reference reports of a shooting.

Units arriving on scene discovered two victims suffered from gunshot wounds. Firefighter paramedics treated the victims on scene before transporting them to an area hospital in critical condition.

The reported suspect was believed to have barricaded himself inside a residence and was refusing to comply with officers.

A team of officers from mutual agencies was formed and made entry into the residence before taking the suspected shooting into custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
