Pacoima: Police Officers Discover House Engulfed In Flames

09.14.2019 | 2:02 AM | LOS ANGELES – Officers clearing a routine traffic stop discovered a home engulfed in flames, early Saturday morning.

Authorities were clearing a routine traffic stop when they observed heavy smoke coming from a home in the 13000 block of Eustace Street in the Pacoima area around 2:02 AM.

The officers requested firefighters respond while they worked to evacuate nearby homes.

Firefighters arriving on scene quickly doused the fire, extinguishing the flames in under 20 minutes.

Crews did not locate anyone inside the home during an initial search and no injuries were immediately reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
