Pacoima: Police Investigate Shooting Incident

07.15.2019 | 12:30 AM | PACOIMA – An investigation was underway after a shooting, early Monday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting in an alleyway between Van Nuys Boulevard and Hoyt Street near Pala Avenue around 12:30 AM.

Officers in the area of the shooting located a vehicle possibly related to the shooting and became involved in a traffic collision near the intersection of Bradley Avenue and Van Nuys Boulevard.

It was unclear whether anyone was injured but officers arriving established a large perimeter while they searched for evidence.

Two handguns were reportedly recovered inside the crashed vehicle.

No additional information was immediately available.
