Pacoima: Man Shot To Death By Two Gunmen

05.09.2020 | 10:45 PM | LOS ANGELES – A 26-year-old man was killed by two gunmen who got out of a vehicle and opened fire before fleeing, Saturday night.

Authorities responded to reports of an assault with a deadly weapon with a victim down in the 13200 block of Cornelius Street in the Pacoima area around 10:45 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male victim down suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced the victim, later identified as 26-year-old Davon Pledger, deceased on scene.

Witnesses reported that two gunmen drove up to the victim in a dark-colored sedan.

Both men exited and opened fire on the victim before returning to their vehicle and fleeing in an unknown direction.

A detailed suspect description or motive was not immediately available.
