Pacoima: Man Freed By Firefighters After Entrapment Crash

04.09.2020 | 10:08 PM | LOS ANGELES – A man was cut free from his vehicle fire firefighters after a freeway crash left him trapped, Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision with a person possible trapped on the eastbound SR-210 Freeway transition road to the westbound SR-118 Freeway in the Pacoima area around 10:08 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a two-car crash with one one person trapped in a Ford pickup truck.

Firefighter paramedics used the jaws of life and other tools to quickly free the trapped patient before transporting them to an area hospital in unknown condition.

One individual from the other involved vehicle was also transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
