Pacoima: Five Injured After Entrapment Crash

06.15.2020 | 11:08 PM | LOS ANGELES – Five people were injured including one who had to be cut free after a two-car crash, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision with a person possibly trapped at the intersection of Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Paxton Street in the Pacoima area around 11:08 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a two-car crash and confirmed one patient was trapped in the wreckage.

Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to free the trapped victim before treating and transporting them to an area hospital.

A total of five victims were transported to area hospitals in varying conditions.
