Pacoima: Fire Spreads From Cars, Damages Home

01.06.2020 | 11:42 PM | LOS ANGELES – Flames from two cars that caught fire spread to a carport and eventually a home, late Monday night.

Authorities responded to reports of an outdoor fire burning to the rear of a home in the 11000 block of Telfair Avenue in the Pacoima area around 11:42 PM.

Crews arriving on scene located two vehicles engulfed in flames that were spreading a carport and nearby home.

Firefighters battled the blaze but strong winds quickly spread the fire leaving the home damaged and both cars destroyed.

No injuries were immediately reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
