Pacoima: Fiery Crash Leaves Vehicle Hanging Off Freeway Overpass

11.24.2019 | 11:41 PM | LOS ANGELES – A fiery crash left a vehicle hanging off a freeway overpass, late Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a fiery crash on the westbound SR-118 Freeway transition road to the southbound I-5 Freeway in the Pacoima area around 11:41 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a white Infiniti engulfed in flames and partially hanging over the freeway overpass and began efforts to douse the blaze.

Firefighters extinguished the fire within minutes and learned the solo driver had exited the vehicle without injury.

The driver was reportedly unlicensed and speeding at the time of the crash.
