Pacoima: Dump Truck Crashes Into Apartment Building

08.20.2019 | 4:08 PM | LOS ANGELES – Three people were injured after a dump truck crashed into an apartment building, Tuesday evening.

Authorities responded to reports of a vehicle into a building in the 12800 block of Branford Street in the Pacoima area around 4:08 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a dump truck that had collided with a two-story apartment building.

Three people, including the male truck driver and two female residents from inside the apartment building, were injured but considered to be in “good condition.” All three were transported to area hospitals for treatment.

A gas and water leak occurred as a result of the crash but was quickly secured by firefighters. The structural integrity of the building was being evaluated by city building officials.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
