Oxnard: Vehicle Found Abandoned, Engulfed In Flames

03.12.2019 | 1:54 AM | OXNARD – Authorities are investigating a vehicle that was abandoned and set on fire, early Tuesday morning.

Authorities responded to calls reporting a fire in the 3700 block of Etting Road around 1:54 AM.

Crews arriving on scene found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames in the roadway with nobody nearby.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire which appeared to have been set intentionally.

Authorities report many burned vehicles in the area are later determined to be stolen.

Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fire.
