Oxnard: Teen Shot, Killed During Alleyway Altercation

07.01.2020 | 10:04 PM | OXNARD – A teenager was shot to death after an altercation in an alleyway, Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a fight in-progress to the rear of an apartment complex in located in the 200 block of Cuesta Del Mar around 10:04 PM.

Units arriving on scene located an approximately 18-year-old male down in an alleyway to the rear of the location suffering from a gunshot wound.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced the victim deceased on scene.

Initial reports indicate the victim was involved in an altercation with several other subjects when a gunshot was fired.

No suspect description was immediately available and anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Jeff Kay at (805) 385-8174.
