Oxnard: Suspicious Street Sweeper Fire

12.07.2018 | 11:24 PM | OXNARD – Firefighters extinguished a fully engulfed street sweeper, late Friday night.

Firefighters responded to reports of a street sweeper on fire in the yard of a business in the 2400 block of Eastman Avenue shortly before 11:30 PM.

Crews arriving on scene found the street sweeper engulfed in flames and extending to a nearby truck and quickly attacked the blaze.

Within 10 minutes the fire was extinguished.

Arson investigators were requested to the scene due to the suspicious nature of the fire.
