Oxnard: Suspected Arson Fires Destroy Truck & Billboard

04.29.2020 | 2:45 AM | OXNARD – An investigation is underway after suspected arson fires destroyed a truck and a billboard, early Wednesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a unknown type fire burning in the area of Second Street and Oxnard Boulevard around 2:45 AM.

Crews arriving on scene located a pickup truck and billboard behind a business engulfed in flames.

Firefighters quickly extinguished both flames which they determined to be likely arson fires.

Police and fire investigators were responding to the scene.

No additional information was immediately available.
