Oxnard: Suspect Arrested After Pursuit

08.03.2020 | 3:50 AM | OXNARD – A pursuit that started in Santa Fe Springs and ended with a crash in Oxnard, early Monday morning.

Officers attempted to stop a vehicle that ran a road closure and struck another vehicle in the Santa Fe Springs area.

The driver of the vehicle refused to yield to officers and continued to flee northbound on the I-101 Freeway.

A spike strip was successfully deployed and the suspect later crashed.

A short foot pursuit ensued but the suspect was quickly taken into custody.
