Oxnard: Small Vegetation Fire Found Burning Near Homes

08.05.2020 | 11:52 PM | OXNARD – A small vegetation fire was found burning near several homes across from a fire station, late Wednesday night.

An ambulance returning from a call spotted the fire burning near the intersection of Camino del Sol and Colonia Road around 11:52 PM.

The fire was located in close proximity to Fire Station 65 and a responding crew was able to quickly extinguish the flames before they could spread  to nearby homes.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
