Oxnard: Shooting Leaves One Dead In Residential Area

03.21.2019 | 10:34 | OXNARD – Police are investigating after a person was shot to death in the driveway of a home, Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting with a victim down in the 900 block of Spruce Street around 10:34 PM.

Units arriving on scene found a victim down in the driveway of a home suffering from a gunshot wound.

Firefighter paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased on scene.

Officers cordoned off the area while they worked to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

The City of Oxnard offers a reward of $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals responsible for committing homicides within the City.
