Oxnard: Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Being Struck By Car

06.10.2019 | 12:52 AM | OXNARD – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a car, early Monday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian near the intersection of Saviers Road and Thomas Avenue around 12:52 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a pedestrian unconscious in the intersection and initiated life-saving measures.

Firefighter paramedics transported the pedestrian to an area hospital in reportedly serious condition.

Authorities closed off the intersection while they worked to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The driver who struck the pedestrian appeared to be cooperating with law enforcement.
