Oxnard: Officers Injured During Scuffle At Stabbing Scene

06.26.2020 | 10:48 PM | OXNARD – An officer was injured in a scuffle with a subject at the scene of a stabbing, Friday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a stabbing in the 1300 block of Commercial Avenue around 10:48 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male stabbing victim who reported he was attacked by two suspects.

At some point while on scene officers were involved in a scuffle.

One officer was injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment along with the stabbing victim.

The circumstances surrounding the stabbing and subsequent officer-involved scuffle are under investigation.
