Oxnard: Motorcyclist Struck, Killed By Semi Truck

03.04.2020 | 11:16 PM | OXNARD – A 33-year-old motorcyclist was killed after a crash involving a semi truck, late Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a motorcyclist on Victoria Avenue at Teal Club Road around 11:16 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a traffic collision involving a 2012 Peterbilt semi truck and a 2016 Indian Scout motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, identified only as a 33-year-old male, was reportedly traveling northbound on Victoria Avenue when he struck the semi struck while turning a left-turn onto Teal Club Drive.

Firefighter paramedics attempted life-saving measures but were unable to revive the motorcyclist who was pronounced deceased on scene.

The driver of the semi truck was uninjured and is cooperating with law enforcement.

It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
