Oxnard: Man Leads Police On Pursuit Before Surrendering

12.29.2019 | 12:45 AM | OXNARD – A man was taken into police custody after leading officers on a brief pursuit, early Sunday morning.

Officers attempted to stop a Honda Civic for a traffic violation near the intersection of Gonzales Road and Oxnard Boulevard around 12:45 AM.

The driver of the Civic failed to yield to officers and sped away for several miles before eventually surrendering.

The solo driver was taken into custody without incident.
