Oxnard: Man Dead After Altercation Leads To Stabbing

03.14.2020 | 11:20 PM | OXNARD – A 53-year-old man was stabbed to death by an unknown assailant after an altercation, late Saturday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a stabbing with a victim down in the 200 block of West Pleasant Valley Road around 11:20 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a 53-year-old male victim suffering from multiple lacerations after being stabbed.

Firefighter paramedics attempted to treat the 53-year-old male victim but he succumbed to his injuries on scene.

Witnesses reported that the victim was involved in an altercation with another man who retrieved a knife and began stabbing the victim.

A detailed suspect description was not immediately available.
