Oxnard: Major Crash Hospitalizes Three, Results In Engine Ejection

01.13.2018 | 2:02 AM | OXNARD – Three people were hospitalized after a serious crash that resulted in the engine of one vehicle being ejected approximately 70-feet, Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to the reported crash at the intersection of Pleasant Valley Road and Longfellow Way around 2:02 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a PT Cruiser sedan with serious damage and three patients.

Firefighter paramedics treated all three victims on scene before transporting them to area hospitals in varying conditions.

Initial reports indicate the solo vehicle lost control before striking a brick wall, causing it to spin.

Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
