Oxnard: Liquor Store Robbed At Gunpoint

02.28.2020 | 11:30 PM | OXNARD – A liquor store was robbed by a suspect who brandished a gun, late Friday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a robbery at the A-Z Liquor located in the 2800 block of South Ventura Road around 11:30 PM.

Units arriving on scene learned that a male hispanic wearing a blue hoodie and jeans entered the store and displayed a handgun before demanding cash.

The clerk complied and the suspect fled on foot with an unknown amount of cash.

No injuries were reported and officers are reviewing surveillance footage in an attempt to identify the suspect.
