Oxnard: Homicide Investigation Underway After Fatal Stabbing

10.21.2019 | 8:42 PM | OXNARD – A homicide investigation was underway after a man was stabbed to death, Monday night.

Officers were flagged down by a bystander who reported a stabbing victim down in the 100 block of Eliza Court around 8:42 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a 49-year-old male Hispanic suffering from a stab wound to his shoulder.

Firefighter paramedics treated the man on scene before transporting him to Ventura County Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities believe an altercation led up to the fatal stabbing incident and are asking anyone with information to contact Detective Jose Velazquez at (805) 385-7760 with information.

A standing reward of $10,000 is available for information leading to the  arrest and conviction of individuals responsible for committing homicides in Oxnard.
