Oxnard: Firefighters Rescue Cat Stuck In Tree

06.13.2019 | 10:10 PM | OXNARD – A cat named Pumpkin had to be rescued by firefighters from a tree, Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a cat stuck in a tree in the 600 block of Fernwood Drive around 10:10 PM.

Crews arriving on scene located the orange and white cat in a tree and used a ladder to safely bring him down.

The cat quickly ran home after urinating on one of his rescuers.

The cat’s owner reported this was not the first time Pumpkin has gotten himself into trouble.
