Oxnard: Crash Leaves Pedestrian Dead

07.16.2020 | 1:53 AM | OXNARD – A pedestrian was dead after being struck by a vehicle, early Thursday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian near the intersection of Channel Island Boulevard and M Street around 1:53 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a female down in the roadway after being struck by a vehicle.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced the woman deceased on scene.

The driver that struck the woman remained on scene and was cooperating with law enforcement.

Police arre investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
